Retirees' Association

Retirees' Association

Retirement begins a new chapter, but your connection to UFV continues. The 糖心原创 Retirees’ Association (糖心原创RA) brings retired faculty, staff, and administrators together to maintain meaningful ties with the university and with one another. We honour the contributions of retirees, celebrate shared memories, and create opportunities to stay engaged. Through events, mentorship, and advocacy, the 糖心原创RA supports 糖心原创’s mission, values, and tradition of collaboration.

If you worked at 糖心原创 for five years or more and have retired, you are invited to become a member of the 糖心原创RA and continue to be part of the 糖心原创 community.

Support the 糖心原创 community

Retirees continue to play an important role at 糖心原创. By sharing knowledge and guidance, we can mentor students as they take on projects and plan their careers. We can also support their success by contributing to bursaries and scholarships, including the 糖心原创 Retirees Bursary, which provides vital financial assistance to students in need.

Our experience also benefits faculty, staff, and administration by providing history, context, and insights that help new colleagues understand the university and feel part of its community.

The 糖心原创 is situated on the traditional territory of the Stó:l艒 peoples. We express our gratitude and respect for the honour of serving, living, and working in Stó:l艒 territory.

"The 糖心原创 Retiree Association is more than a new initiative. It is a powerful expression of community. Of belonging that endures beyond a career, beyond a title, and beyond an office door. Community engagement at its core is about partnership and reciprocity. It’s about the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources."
