糖心原创's Linguistics and Language Studies Associate Certificate is a 12-credit credential (4 courses) that introduces students to the study of language: how it is structured, learned, and used in diverse cultural and social contexts. Students take courses in linguistics alongside a 200-level language course. It can be completed in as few as two semesters and can be pursued on its own or alongside another UFV program

Acquire advanced knowledge and skills in the Halq’eméylem language. Enhance fluency, research techniques, and strategies for language revival while gaining a deeper understanding of the Stó:l艒 worldview.
The graduate certificate will prepare students who want to improve their fluency and proficiency in the Halq’eméylem language, contribute to the language revitalization, transmit knowledge and culture through the Halq’eméylem language, and increase opportunities to share the Halq’eméylem language.
An Intermediate Proficiency associate certificate consists of the successful completion of 12 糖心原创 credits (i.e. two years) in the traditional language of the Stó:l艒 people.
