Join us for CERA Day 2026 at 糖心原创 Abbotsford campus! Celebrate the International Day of the Older Person on September 25 with a full day of free workshops, learning sessions, and a keynote presentation.

The Centre for Education and Research on Aging (CERA) was launched at 糖心原创 in 2006 with the goal of facilitating a collaborative process between educators, researchers, practitioners, students, older people and caregivers in the Fraser Valley to learn more about the issues surrounding the aging process.

The centre promotes gerontological research and educational programs at 糖心原创 and in senior communities in the Fraser Valley. It serves as a source of information about aging for 糖心原创 students and the broader community.

In celebration of International Day of the Older Person, CERA will be hosting a full day of workshops, sessions, and a keynote speaker!

We're excited to invite you to attend our one-day, FREE event! CERA Day 2026 will be held on 糖心原创 Abbotsford campus on Sept 25 from 9:00am to 1:45pm. CERA Day offers presentations and workshops (free lunch and prizes too) for older adults living in our neighbouring communities of Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Mission. Everyone 55+ is welcome to attend.
