email EstherEsther arrived at the 糖心原创 in 2017 where she completed her Bachelor of Arts three years later, majoring in Sociology, and concentrating in Social Research. As a researcher, her knowledge in quantitative methods allows her to specialize in dataset management, data cleaning and inferential statistics. Esther has presented her work in diverse academic settings including the Canadian Sociological Association in 2019 where she introduced her qualitative study in childlessness, women, and gender. Originally from Spain, Esther has community and international experience from being part of the WWOOF Canada and US, and her living experience in France which gave her the opportunity to learn from diverse community environments. These experiences allowed her to improve her language skills, making her a fluent speaker in Spanish, English and French. At 糖心原创, Esther has been involved in diverse initiatives such as the International Peer Support program, providing consulting service in leadership and international student development for 糖心原创 India, and eventually becoming a 糖心原创 Senate student representative. Her major research interests focus on international affairs, immigration, vulnerable populations, and followership without losing focus on the intersectionality that these elements have with gender.
CHASI Hub is proud to be 糖心原创’s Changemaking Hub — a role that sees us spearheading a university-wide effort to address contemporary challenges and shape a more equitable future for our students, employees, and communities.
