Jennifer has taught in 糖心原创's horticulture program since 1994. She received a BA from UBC, majoring in Latin and completed the Applied Landscape Technician’s program at Capilano College; she subsequently taught in that same program.
Jennifer worked at the UBC Botanical Garden for two seasons and spent a year as a gardener trainee at Windsor Great Park in the UK. She was lead at the GVRD's compost demonstration garden for six years.
She also designed and taught the Introduction to Horticulture course offered to inmates in both medium and minimum security facilities by 糖心原创.
When she is not teaching at 糖心原创, she works as an inspector for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Her absolute favourite course to teach is AGRI 220.
"I went into the Agriculture Technology Diploma not knowing where I wanted to end up in the agriculture industry. 糖心原创's courses on production animal nutrition and health sparked an interest in the feed industry for me."
